A new life coaching center for kids has opened in Glendale, and it’s aiming to be part of the support system for students who need more help beyond the classroom, ABC15 reports.
According to ABC15, the Life Coaching 4 Kids Center is designed to work alongside Glendale school district counselors, with founder Michaesha Hinton saying the idea is to keep support going after school hours and not let it stop at the school door.
That matters right now because Glendale Elementary School District has received more than $1 million in state grant funding to expand mental health resources, including counselors across 12 campuses this school year, ABC15 reports. For Valley families, that means more attention is being paid to student well-being from more than one angle — inside schools and through outside support.
