Award-Winning De Babel Expands with Second Scottsdale Spot

Scottsdale's celebrated Middle Eastern eatery, De Babel, is growing with a new location just four miles from its original home.

If you’ve been a fan of the Middle Eastern flavors at De Babel, you’re in luck. The restaurant, which has earned a spot on Yelp’s Top 100 Restaurants list for four consecutive years—even hitting the No. 3 spot nationwide in 2025—is officially expanding.

According to reporting from the Phoenix New Times, the team is opening a second location this Tuesday. While the original spot has been serving diners off Pima Road and Raintree Drive, this new outpost is situated just four miles south at The Edge shopping plaza.

It’s a big move for a local favorite that has built a serious reputation over the last few years. Whether you’re a regular or just looking to see what the buzz is about, this new space promises to bring their celebrated menu to even more of the Valley.
