I’m into this. Fall Arizona Restaurant Week is one of those easy Valley wins: you get a bunch of restaurants showing off, and your wallet doesn’t have to take a full beating. Phoenix New Times says the fall event starts Friday and runs through Sept. 27, with more than 250 restaurants in the mix.

That’s the part I like most. It turns the whole scene into a little treasure hunt. You can try a place you’ve been meaning to book, or finally pull the trigger on somewhere that’s been sitting on your list forever. According to Phoenix New Times, most of the participating spots are doing three-course menus for $33, $44, or $55 per person. A few are switching it up with per-couple pricing or four or more courses, so it’s worth checking the menu before you lock anything in.

And yeah, the menus are being uploaded daily, which means the smart move is to keep an eye on the listings instead of waiting until the last second. If you like eating your way around the Valley, this is exactly the kind of event that makes fall feel like fall.
